Lost Rivers Grazing Academy – Eagle Valley Ranch

The Lost River Grazing Academy is a 4-day workshop covering management of irrigated pastures.  It includes classroom, lab and field practice, including management of a small herd of cattle to accomplish grazing assignments.   The workshop is taught by University of Idaho Extension active and emeritus faculty, and feature Jim Gerrish of American GrazingLand.  The program is held on the Eagle Valley Ranch, near Salmon, Idaho, which is managed using the principles of Management-intensive Grazing.
