10th Annual SALMON RIVERFEST

Friday June 2

4-7 p.m.: Kayak Surf Clinic – Adults & Juniors (14+) Location:  The Wave

Join us for an afternoon of great surf coaching, improve your roll, try a new boat or just watch.  Professional instructions from the Salmon River Adventure Company & Pyrana Kayaks will be hosting this event.  Drop-ins welcome.  Event Registration at: info@salmonwhitewaterpark.org or 208-940-0320

5-11 p.m.:  Pre-Register for Events & Pre-Party with Live Music

710 Ashbury (Grateful Dead Cover) at Sweet Water Hollow 317 Riverfront Drive:  $10.00 Adults, Kids 10+ $5.00

Saturday June 3rd

10:00 a.m. Free River Safety Class – Shoup Bridge (93 S) hosted by the Salmon River Adventure Company and sponsored by LOT.

Breakfast at 9 a.m. by Eats Catering.  Blessing of the Boats Community Float:  Shoup Bridge to Town (eddy out above island for parade through new wave).  Wave photos will be available for order. Eddy out below wave for Ribbon Cutting & River Event Schedule.  Please have shuttle rigs left on Island Park of or the Carmen Take-out for trailers.

2 p.m:  The Ribbon Cutting & Event Lineup

Free to the public Information & Registration Table at Veterans Park 2 p.m.  Pre-Event Meeting for Participants:  2:30 p.m. Pizza by Odd Fellows’ Bakery 1-5 p.m.  Drinks available for purchase.  Chairs welcome, no outside drinks please.  Vendors welcome with reservation.  All events subject to change based on water levels.
